The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, in its role as the Tahoe Metropolitan Planning Organization, prepares and adopts the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) every two years. The 2025 FTIP is a financially constrained four-year program of transportation projects funded between federal fiscal years 2025 through 2028. Transportation projects receiving federal funds, requiring a federal action, or regionally significant are included in the FTIP. This document is consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan and related local, state, and federal planning processes.
The Draft 2025 Federal Transportation Improvement Program 30-day public comment period begins July 18, 2024 and closes on August 16, 2024. A public hearing is scheduled for August 7, 2024 at the Tahoe Transportation Commission Board meeting. Visit Tahoe Transportation District for the meeting details.
