Lake Tahoe, Stateline, NV – The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Hearings Officer will consider an applicant’s request to tear down the structures at the W.D. Barton Ranch Complex at 1080 Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe during a special meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday June, 29.
All remaining structures on the site are proposed to be demolished, including two residential structures, one barn/stable, one garage, five out-buildings, and one pump house. Most of the structures were built between 1936 and 1955. The South Lake Tahoe community has been engaged in this project because of its historic nature and TRPA is encouraging public comment at the meeting, through comment letters, or emails.
The special Hearings Officer meeting will be held at the TRPA offices at 128 Market Street in Stateline. Agenda and staff summaries are available online at https://www.trpa.gov/special-hearings-officer-meeting-agenda-and-staff-summary-june-29-2015/.
