Effective April 23, 2025, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) has updated the process for public input during Governing Board meetings to provide time-certain scheduling for members of the public and to allow sufficient time for Governing Board deliberations. The updated structure includes:
A 45-minute comment period on agenda items at the beginning of each Governing Board meeting.
If time does not allow all individuals to comment during the initial period, this portion of the agenda may be extended, or time will be allotted during the agenda item.
A general public interest comment period at the end of each meeting.
The agency will continue to accept written comments by mail or email at publiccomment@trpa.gov.
All those wishing to provide comment in accordance with these protocols will be heard. These changes are designed to offer time-certain opportunities for public input while also preserving sufficient time for Board deliberations. These updates are part of TRPA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a transparent and accessible public process.
The PDF files of the received written public comments are organized in reverse date order, bookmarked, and searchable. The files will be updated periodically until 5pm, Tuesday, May 27th. Please remember to clear your browser cache to ensure you are seeing the most up to date information.
