Stateline, Nevada–The Tahoe Transportation District, Federal Highway Administration, and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency on April 24 released a draft environmental review for the proposed U.S. 50/South Shore Community Revitalization Project.
The document includes detailed reports on five project alternatives being evaluated.
The public has 75 days to offer input on the adequacy of information on the environmental review, located on the Tahoe Transportation District website at www.tahoetransportation.org/us50 and on the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency website https://www.trpa.gov/archived-plans-and-projects/ and at the offices of both agencies. Public comments on the technical adequacy of the document can be submitted until 5 p.m. July 7, 2017. Comments can be emailed to info@tahoetransportation.org or mailed to Russ Nygaard, Tahoe Transportation District, PO Box 499 Zephyr Cove, NV 89448.
