South Lake Tahoe, CA – The City of South Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency are holding a public workshop from 4-6 p.m. Monday, July 9 on a proposed amendment that would annex approximately 18 acres in District 1 of the Bijou/Al Tahoe Community Plan into the Tourist Core Area Plan Gateway District. The area to be annexed is located north of U.S. Highway 50 near its intersection with Johnson Boulevard and Fairway Avenue. The workshop is a chance for people to learn more about this proposal and to submit comments to agency staff and environmental consultants.
