Lake Tahoe, Stateline, NV – Lake Tahoe bids a fond farewell this week to its sole representative from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Jane Freeman, who has quietly helped Tahoe Basin agencies protect air and water quality here for the past eight years, has taken a position with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in Reno. Freeman’s position will be filled by EPA’s Jacques Landy, a four-year veteran of environmental research and protection at Lake Tahoe.
