Meeks Bay Restoration Project Stakeholder Forum
The U.S. Forest Service, in partnership with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board (Lahontan), is resuming work on the plan and the environmental analysis for the proposed Meeks Bay Restoration Project initiated in 2018.
The agency-led Project Development Team will be working with a Stakeholder Forum, comprised of key community groups and the public at large, to inform the development of project alternatives and support the resolution of issues stemming from the environmental review process. These nine working Stakeholder Forum meetings, convened by TRPA, will be open to the public.
