Stateline, NV – The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) welcomes attorney Jessica Satre to its legal team as Agency Associate Counsel. Satre joined TRPA in November last year.
Most recently, Satre was a government affairs and legislative analyst for the law firm of Snell & Wilmer, LLP. She has also worked on Capitol Hill in Washington DC for Senator Harry Reid and held legal internships at the Federal Communications Commission and U.S. Department of Education.
Being raised in Reno and having spent many summers in Truckee and Lake Tahoe, Satre is grateful for the chance to put her public service law background to work for the Lake.
“I am very passionate about Lake Tahoe and the issues that TRPA works on,” she said. “The Agency is working to harmonize the natural and human environments so that everyone, including future generations, can continue to enjoy one of our greatest environmental treasures.”
Satre is a graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Law and Stanford University. She replaces Scott Lichtig who relocated to Sacramento.
